Vengai Mbanyele is a Crop Scientist / Agronomist with special interest on Agro-ecology, Sustainable Agro-systems Analysis and Climate Change Adaptation in the context of development. I have excellent ability to apply the knowledge of the physical, chemical and physiological aspects of crop growth and production to analyze yield constraints and develop appropriate crop management practices to sustain and where possible improve food production. I did my MSc Plant Science Wageningen University (The Netherlands) majoring in Crop science. My thesis research was on farming systems ecology. Currently doing my PhD studies at the University of Zimbabwe. I am working on climate change adaptation in smallholder crop production systems with special focus on conservation agriculture and integrated soil fertility management.
