Dr. Ndabhemeye Mlengera is the Centre research coordinator at the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) – Uyole Centre and head of Agricultural engineering program. He is the Principal Agricultural Research Officer under the Ministry of Agriculture focusing on Natural Resources Management, labour and time saving technologies with over 15 years experience in research and training of smallholder farmers and agricultural extension field officers on conservation agriculture (CA) and natural resources management. He holds a PhD that focused on CA technologies – soil erosion studies for sustainable steep lands agricultural production. He has an MSc in management of natural resources for sustainable agriculture that focused on irrigation scheduling in maize crop. He also has BSc in agriculture general.
